Hi, mine is a XO 250 open with 300 hp Evenrude G2 engine. Very happy with this boat. The 250 is fantastic in Norwegian waters. Maybe not the fastest, but always best through rough sea.

Unlike fiberglass, aluminum hulls are much more durable. For this exact reason aluminum became a material of choice for commercial and search-and-rescue and military operations, where durability is one of the key performance factors.
XO hulls are manufactured using the best quality marine aluminum (AlMg4,5/5083), with maximum design stress of 113 MPa (ISO 12215-5). All XO models are build with an 8 mm thick keel, 5 mm bottom panels and 4 mm side panels, and are reinforced with honeycomb sheets.
XO is a fast boat with excellent handling performance allowing you to make a good headway even if the conditions are not ideal.
To give you some idea of how other options perform, a single 300hp is said to be good for around 38 knots, while the single diesel installations should deliver speeds in the low 40's. With the largest horsepower option, twin 250hp outboards, the EXPLR 10S+ should be knocking on the door of 50 knots, maybe a touch over. The EXPLR 10S+ delivers a driving experience as close to perfect as it gets.

EXPLR 10 Sport + model adds a two-berth sleeping cabin instead of the open forward cockpit. The OB version is available with either a single or twin outboards, and it features a protected aft deck area with various seating options.
Gather your group and go. In this model, 8-10 people can travel through the wind and navigate steadily with comfort. The front cabin accommodates two people for a good night sleep, hence the inevitable night after a day is not an obstacle for continuing the adventure.
